Drill Bit Stake Installation Tool
For use with our 3/8-inch diameter “Standard” snow plow stakes (26”, 32”, and 36” lengths only, not for 47” length stakes). Cordless drill not included.
Our drill bit install tool is a great alternative for stake installation. Designed to install snow plow stakes firmly into the ground without having to bend over. Works great on frozen ground and gravel.
The drill bit is a 9/32”-diameter, 39”-length masonry bit that fits inside our 3/8”-diameter “Standard” snow plow stakes. An adjustable collar allows you to use the tool for any of our lengths up to 36”.
To use: Tighten the drill bit into a cordless drill chuck. Sleeve a snow plow stake onto the drill bit until 1” to 2” stick out the bottom of the stake. Adjust the collar along the bit to allow for the proper length. Drill the bit directly into the ground until the stake is in the ground 4”-6”. Pull the drill bit out from the stake, leaving the stake tightly friction-fit in the ground.
